
Spicy Cheese-Less Black Bean Dip
Made
with VEGANS in mind! Enjoy this very flavorful recipe developed
in Doc's kitchens. We
just love to experiment with fresh wholesome ingredients!
This recipe can be served as an Appetizer or a main meal.
Just add a nice Green Salad.
In Small Pot, until heated through:
1 15 oz. Low Sodium Black Beans
1/4 C. Hummus
3 Cloves Garlic, crushed
1-2 TBS Onion, grated
1/2 C. Salsa, chunky
Remove from heat and use hand blender
to blend slightly. Pour into a pie plate evenly.
Mix:
Top with 1/2 C. Salsa
1-3 TBS >Doc's
Reducer or >Doc's
More My Speed or any of Doc's sauces to
taste
Topping:
Layer the salsa mix with Doc's sauce
Roasted Peppers or Fresh pepper slices
Avocado, chopped coarsely and sprinkled with fresh lemon juice
Jalapenos or Habaneros, chopped (optional)
Chopped Tomatoes
Onion, finely chopped
Serve with:
Baked Tortilla Chips
(Cut tortillas into 8ths. Bake at 450, 3-5 or more min. till browned lightly.
Watch carefully not to burn them!)
Tortillas (Corn or Whole Grain)
Lettuce (Use as a wrap)
